🧠 Technical Architecture

BlockBolt is a payment protocol built on top of the Sui blockchain. It is designed to provide a secure, efficient, and decentralized payment system for users. The architecture of BlockBolt consists of several components that work together to enable transactions and ensure the integrity of the payment system.

Smart Contract The BlockBolt payment protocol is implemented as a smart contract on Sui Network's blockchain. This smart contract contains the logic for processing transactions, verifying account balances, and ensuring the integrity of the payment system.

Wallet The wallet is a user interface for interacting with the payment protocol. It allows users to create accounts, view account balances, and send and receive payments. The wallet is built as a web/mobile application and can be accessed from any device with an internet connection. The wallet interacts with the smart contract to execute transactions and update account balances.

Payment Gateway BlockBolt payment protocol is a link between merchants and users to make payments in a decentralized way using Sui Blockchain. BlockBolt will provide a complete infrastructure for merchants to create or subscribe to the POS and Payment gateway.

In the backend, BlockBolt SDK will interact with the blockchain and dApp. The integration will be super easy. All the tokens on Sui Ecosystem, including SUI native and its stables (in the future), are supported.

Validators Validators play a crucial role in the Sui Network by verifying transactions and maintaining the integrity of the payment system. Their responsibilities include validating transactions, confirming blocks, and ensuring consensus on the blockchain. Users who verify transactions are motivated to uphold the reliability of the payment system by a program of rewards that encourages them to promote network stability and security.

API / SDK The BlockBolt API & SDK is a set of interfaces that allow developers to build applications that interact with the payment protocol. The API provides access to account balances, transaction histories, and other information related to the payment system. Developers can use the API to build custom applications or integrate BlockBolt into existing applications.

The BlockBolt architecture comprises of several important components, including a smart contract, wallet, payment gateway, validators, and API. Together, these components create a secure, decentralized, and highly efficient payment system that operates on-chain.
